Fine Point Punch Needle Rug Hooking, Level 3
Course Description
Deep dive into the world of pictorial tapestry techniques! Explore different methodologies such as folk/Romanesque/billedvev in a green warbler, medieval/Renaissance techniques in an owl, and contemporary and textured techniques in a cardinal. Learn to work with finer detail and a wool warp, including bending the “grid” of tapestry with eccentric weft, working shading with hatching technique and mutli-strand Aubusson, as well as integrated textures from soumak, tufting, beading, and embroidery.
