Thank you for your interest in helping me gear up for teaching a new medium! This 3-session road test will focus on level-1 wool embroidery techniques and skills using a single color. We’ll cover 14 different stitches as well as how to prepare your hoop, stretch your backing, start and stop your thread, and best practices.
For road tests, tuition is half off, as I know some of our time together will be helping me figure out what works best, from camera angles to needed written and tutorial materials, which I have yet to create. I’m also hoping to discern if 3 sessions is adequate or if this material should stretch out into 4 sessions in the future. The road test process really helped me bring clarity to the launch of my tapestry curriculum, and I’m excited to point it now at wool embroidery with you!
Since these support materials have yet to be created, they are not included in the fee.
Our sessions will meet via Zoom on Fridays Aug 4, 11, and 18 from 3 to 5 pm CST.
