Preferrably for graduates of Laura’s course Wool Embroidery L-1 (but if you are coming with previous embroidery skills, please feel free to reach out to see if this is a good fit for you), this course explores wool embroidery AND Ultra Punch Needle! An Ultra Punch Needle is similar to the Oxford punch needle, only it is designed for much finer threads–pretty neat! If you are not interested in playing with an Ultra Punch Needle, other embroidery stitches can be swapped out for the seahorse’s mane.

This Zoom class meets on Fridays 2-4pm Central, February 7, 14, 21, and 28

Our sessions will be recorded and made available for 2 months after our final session to registrants of the class.

Class Kit Includes:

• Wool poly-blend backing with drawn design
• Embroidery needle
• Wool embroidery yarn from the instructor’s sheep
• Stitch guide diagram

What you will also need:

• Ultra punch (readily available from The Woolery, Amazon, Tattered Old Flat, etc.)
• 10 inch embroidery hoop–really recommend a Morgan No-Slip hoop if you are using the Ultra Punch
• Embroidery stands are optional, but it is nice to be able to work with 2 hands
• Sharp thread scissors
