Winter Produce--so Much to Enjoy!
On our farm, the growing season never stops. Here is a tour of some of the kinds of produce we have in the winter.
- From the garden: potatoes, onions, carrots, parsnips, winter squash, apples.
- From the aquaponics greenhouse: fresh lettuce, Swiss chard, kale, bok choi, frisee endive, baby mixed greens, kohlrabi, tatsoi mock spinach, fresh herbs, and more.
- From the freezer (saved from summer’s glory): blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, cherry tomatoes.
- From the kitchen: Jams and jellies made from summer’s harvest.
We also source additional, special items through Co-op Partners, such as pears, citrus, broccoli, and other Organic deliciousness to add a special treat for members.
