Felted Crochet Rug Pattern

$20.00

A wool rug you can wash?  Have an overflowing stash of yarn leftovers you want to use up?  This project is perfect!  Learn how to pair Icelandic Alafoss lopi yarn with a variety of selections from your stash to crochet and felt a beautiful and durable rug.  We’ll use easy stitches, so this project is great even for folks fairly new to crochet, finishing off with both machine and hand wet felting techniques.  This 8-page detailed photo essay includes helpful notes, the full pattern, detailed materials discussion, do’s and don’t’s, and the link and passwords to 2 video tutorials.  Notes are included for making different sizes and shapes of rugs, as well as considerations for use of color and texture.

Use a size N 15 (10mm) crochet hook. (Yes, it’s a big one)  Once you learn how to make these, you’ll love using up your stash of wool or wool blend yarns to make rugs for all occasions.

You will receive the pattern as a PDF digital download that is part of your email receipt after purchase.  Remember to download and save or print!

Kit versions of this project with yarn are also available!
