A companion to the punch needle level-2 cardinal, this delightful hummingbird project is designed to help you practice and hone your fine point Oxford punch needle skills. Recommended gear for students is the 14×14 or 18×18 inch gripper strip frame (though a Q-snap frame works fine too), Oxford fine punches size 13 and 14, and a bent scissors.
While this class is designed for students who have taken punch needle rug hooking level-2 with Laura. However, if you are eyeing up this experience and have taken level-1, please reach out as well. Laura is open to offering add-on options so you can access the photo essay and pre-recorded tutorials of that course as additional aids for this project.
This Zoom class meets on Monday mornings, 10am to noon Central, April 8, 15, 22, and 29.
Our sessions will be recorded and made available for a month after our final session to registrants of the class.
