Preferrably for graduates of Laura’s course Wool Embroidery L-1 (but if you are coming with previous embroidery skills, please feel free to reach out to see if this is a good fit for you), this course explores wool on damask using painterly long-and-short stitchwork to create artful color blending.

This Zoom class meets on Sunday mornings, 10am to noon Central, August 11, 18, and 25.

Our sessions will be recorded and made available for a month after our final session to registrants of the class.

Class Kit Includes:

• Fabrick backing
• Embroidery needle
• Wool embroidery yarn from the instructor’s sheep
• Stitch guide diagram

What you will also need:

• 10 inch embroidery hoop (perferrably with the inner hoop wrapped, as taught in the L-1 course)
• Embroidery stands are optional, but it is nice to be able to work with 2 hands
• Sharp thread scissors
