Farmstead Creamery's Café & Market

Surrounded by a community of lakes, tucked in the Chequamegon National Forest on our century farm, Farmstead Creamery is that gem of a stop that offers a refuge in the Northwoods for those seeking the best of local foods, a vibrant music and arts scene or a quiet spot to catch some wifi and cell phone signals with a steamy cup of French press coffee or hot tea.

It's also that place to take friends and family for a wood-fired pizza amidst the dragonflies and hummingbirds, enjoy fresh home-made muffins, or pick up supplies for the cabin like meats, milk, eggs, and salad fixings.  And don't forget about a creamy scoop of gelato after paddling about on the lake!  It's all here, all year.

Your Local Foods Hub

Before Farmstead, you really had to know where to go to access local foods, and you could spend all day driving about for milk, honey, eggs, produce, etc.  Now we've brought that all together in one place, mixed with a kitchen or cooking up tasty lunches using ingredients fresh from the farm, an on-farm dairy plant for making gelato (and soon cheese!), a bakery that uses all ancient grains, and a pantry stocked with jams and jellies, syrup, honey, granola, mixes, and more.

Check out the display cooler and freezer for the latest seasonal pics, place a special order to pick up when you arrive, catch some of Chef Ray's new "Heat and Eat" prepared home meal options, or dine-in.  So many great ways to enjoy your visit to Farmstead!  We hope you'll join us on the farm this season.
